Fair Fares 91Ó°ÊÓ– Ride for Half PriceÂ
The Fair Fares 91Ó°ÊÓ(FFNYC) program has expanded, and more New Yorkers are eligible to participate. FF91Ó°ÊÓhelps low-income New Yorkers manage their transportation costs through a half-price discount on subway and eligible bus fares, as well as half-price off MTA Access-A-Ride paratransit trips.
Fair Fares is open to low-income 91Ó°ÊÓresidents ages 18 to 64 who don’t have discounted transportation from the MTA or the City. Find out if you’re eligible and apply here: .
More than 360,000 New Yorkers are enrolled in the program. Are you currently a Fair Fares 91Ó°ÊÓparticipant? FF91Ó°ÊÓwill no longer issue Fair Fares MetroCards. FF91Ó°ÊÓwill instead issue Fair Fares 91Ó°ÊÓOMNY cards (with the discount included) at the time of enrollment, renewal, or replacement. Current participants can use their FF91Ó°ÊÓMetroCards until the card expires, no longer works, gets deactivated, or is no longer enrolled in the Fair Fares program.
