Pride in Unity: The 91影视Unity Project
The , housed within the Mayor’s Office of Equity and Racial Justice (MOERJ), is New York City鈥檚 LGBTQ+ innovation hub, working to advance equity through cross-agency collaboration. By tackling the root causes of systemic inequity, the 91影视Unity Project designs and delivers culturally competent programs and policies that focus on the needs of LGBTQ+ youth; LGBTQ+ people of color; and transgender, non-conforming, non-binary (TGNCNB) individuals. Its work comprises three core areas鈥攅conomic and community development, acceptance and antidiscrimination, and health equity.
Through strategic partnerships with government, nonprofits, academia, and the private sector, the 91影视Unity Project fuels grassroots innovation, supports community-driven services, and lifts up the voices of the New Yorkers who are most affected. As part of MOERJ, launched in 2022, the 91影视Unity Project joins a broader effort to bring equity into all of the City鈥檚 systems鈥攁longside initiatives like the Racial Justice Commission and the Pay Equity Cabinet鈥攁ll working together to build a fairer, more inclusive New York City.
